🎃 Dog Days at Northwest Trek

Kick off the season with Dog Days at Northwest Trek on October 31! This special event is designed for dog lovers who want to bring their pups along for some Halloween fun. Expect dog-friendly trails, pup cups for purchase, a costume contest, and a full day of tail-wagging adventure.

Guests ages 18+ may bring one leashed dog each with a pre-purchased ticket—no dog tickets are available at the gate, so be sure to plan ahead for this popular fall event!

    🌳 Dog-Friendly Parks to Explore

If you’re more in the mood for a relaxed stroll surrounded by fall foliage, Tacoma’s local parks are perfect for stretching those legs (yours and theirs!).

    • Swan Creek Off-Leash Dog Park – A 4-acre wooded paradise with separate areas for small and large dogs, plus beautiful forested trails to wander.

    • Wapato Off-Leash Dog Park – One of Tacoma’s most popular spots, featuring three fenced play areas (including one for smaller pups) along with benches and covered shelters.

    • Point Defiance Off-Leash Dog Park – Seven acres of space to explore with views of the waterfront and a smaller fenced area just for tiny dogs.

    • Rogers Off-Leash Dog Park – A cozy 1.5-acre park with benches, shade, and a drinking fountain to keep your pup hydrated after playtime.

Each park has its own personality, so whether your dog is a social butterfly or prefers quieter play, there’s a perfect Tacoma spot waiting for you both.

    🎃 Dog-Friendly Farms & Fall Adventures

No fall season is complete without a pumpkin patch visit! Luckily, a few local farms welcome four-legged guests to join the fun.

    • Maris Farms – Known for its pumpkins, corn maze, and 40+ attractions, this farm offers plenty of daytime fun. Leashed dogs are welcome but must be registered at the information booth upon entry.

    • Picha Farms – Famous for its spider-themed corn maze, hayrides, and pumpkin slingshots. Leashed pups are welcome, though not permitted in the maze or on hayrides.

    • Sidhu Farms – A family favorite with hayrides, bouncy houses, and a massive pumpkin selection. Pets are welcome on leash, making it a relaxed, low-key option for fall photos.

    • Double R Farms – Featuring a 5-acre corn maze, pumpkin slingshots, and weekend hayrides. Leashed dogs are welcome to explore the farm grounds.
